On the afternoon of July 14, the Special Standing Department of the Ministry of Health coordinated with the Management Board of Export Processing Zones & Industrial Parks of Ho Chi Minh City (Hepza) and the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control (HCDC) to inspect the work. arrange accommodation for workers in some enterprises, ensuring both epidemic prevention and production.

At Nha Be Garment Joint Stock Company, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lan - General Director of Nha Be Garment Joint Stock Company said that the company operates in the field of garment production. Recently, through a quick test, the company discovered 11 cases of F0. All F0 cases have been threaded, temporarily isolated at the company in accordance with the disease prevention process. These cases were then transferred to a concentrated isolation facility, but the first RT-PCR results were negative, currently these cases are continuing to wait for the second RT-PCR results. Regarding the above F0 cases, the company has traced about 35 cases of F1, F2.

Facing the complicated epidemic situation, to ensure the "dual goal" of both anti-epidemic and production safety, since July 8, the company has mobilized about 650 direct and indirect workers to ensure production chain. In which, the company is arranging for 280 employees to work directly at the production lines under the motto 3 on the spot (production on the spot - eat on the spot - rest on the spot - PV). In particular, 35 cases of F1, F2 are being arranged for both isolation and production at a separate building in the company. All workers and employees assigned to stay at the company were sampled before and had negative results. In the near future, the company will also perform periodic rapid testing for employees once every 7 days.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lan shared: The company takes care of employees from the accommodation, 3 meals a day, closed toilet areas. In addition, the company supports each employee 100-150 thousand VND/day depending on the production location. In addition, the company regularly propagates and supervises the implementation of 5K according to the guidance of the Ministry of Health, providing employees with epidemic prevention materials such as (antiseptic water, salt water gargle, vitamins to improve immunity). resistance...)

All employees have their temperature checked every day. For 35 cases of F1, F2, every day, the company's medical staff took their temperature and monitored their health regularly. Currently, 35 cases of F1, F2 and other workers are in good health, psychological stability, optimism, good coordination with the company in both anti-epidemic and production safety.

Lan emphasized: “The company has a large campus, good facilities, enough to handle the proactive isolation, ensuring the health of employees. The plans that the company has developed and implemented are all in the spirit of creating the best conditions for workers to be isolated at the company and maintain production. At the same time, proactively better control and reduce pressure on the authorities of District 7 as well as Ho Chi Minh City on centralized isolation… The company is continuing to call for more workers living in hostels in the coming days. living and working at the company”.

In the afternoon of July 14, the delegation also inspected at SWENEOVN Vietnam International Co., Ltd and Bao Ngoc Garment and Embroidery Company in Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone. At SWENEOVN Vietnam International Co., Ltd, there are currently 92 employees living and working at the company. At Bao Ngoc Garment and Embroidery Company, currently still implementing the plan to transport workers from their residence to the company.

Mr. Duong Chi Nam - Deputy Director of the Department of Health Environmental Management, Team leader of isolation and treatment of the medical environment under the Special Standing Department of the Ministry of Health in Ho Chi Minh City, said: To ensuring the "dual goal" of both anti-epidemic and production and business, without disrupting production and supply chains at enterprises, especially global manufacturing enterprises, the prevention and control of epidemics in enterprises is very important.

Every business needs to be proactive. The first is to fully and properly implement the regulations of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, the Ministry of Health, and Decision 2194 of the Ministry of Health guiding the prevention and control of epidemics in enterprises, guiding the guide risk assessment and implement measures to overcome existing risks to prevent epidemics. Every week, businesses must re-evaluate the risks to promptly overcome the shortcomings.

In particular, businesses must develop plans for epidemic prevention and control when F0 cases occur in the enterprise. When developing a plan, it is necessary to organize rehearsals to avoid confusion in practice.
